1. How long does it take to Get your
License?
Answer: The
majority of our clients come on their own free
time or when they are not working. How fast it
gets done depends on their availability and
their schedule. However, we have a
1 week program. Call for all the
details.
2. What other fees are there?
Answer:
The only other fees are the states fees. It cost
$10 for your Leaner's Permit and $60 for your
commercial driver's license.
3. What if I don't live in Houston, TX?
Answer: As long as
you live in Texas and have a Texas Driver's
License, we can help. We service the whole state
of Texas.
4. What if I live out of state?
Answer: To obtain
your CDL in Texas, you need to have a Texas
address / residence. Once you change your address
at any driver's license office in Texas and receive your temporary Texas
drivers license, we can
start the procedure to get your CDL License.
5. Do you have any hotels or RV parks
located near your facility?
Answer: Yes,
actually there are several just across the
Freeway from us and several within a few miles.
We will be glad to email or fax a detailed
list of all the hotels, RV Parks, and
restaurants nearby.
6. What are endorsements and do I have to
get them all?
Answer:
Endorsements are not required to get your
license but some companies request them. There
are 3 endorsements. They are Hazardous Materials
(Hazmat), Tanker, & Doubles / Triples.
7. Do you help with any Endorsements?
Answer: We offer
Free Assistance with the written test(s) to all
our clients who would like to obtain their
Endorsement(s).
8. What are the rules
regarding Hazmat?
Answer: Once you
receive the hard copy of your CDL license, the
D.P.S. (where you took your Hazmat test), will
give you a kit. This kit has paperwork that you
must fill out and a card for finger printing.
You must fill out all the paperwork and mail it
to Austin with about $75. They will run a
background check on you. If everything is ok,
they will mail your new hard copy license with
the endorsement added. This Hazmat process takes
about 30 days.
9. Do you
have computers to practice the written tests,
before going to the D.P.S.?
Answer:
Yes and you can test for Free with any our
programs.
10. What is a DOT Medical Card?
Answer: A DOT
(Department of Transportation) medical card is
required when operating any commercial motor
vehicle. After you pass a medical physical, you
will be issued a DOT Card that is in accordance
with 49 CFR 391.41.
